Our Mission

Our mission is to make the written resources of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints accessible and easy to read for those who have Aphasia. We make texts aphasia-friendly by using

  • Simple, easy-to-read fonts
  • increased space between lines
  • bolding or underlining key words and phrases
  • bullet points
  • sense lines
  • dividing the text into smaller, content specific paragraphs
  • plenty of white space on each page
  • and pictures

By making texts easier to read, study, and remember, we hope you are able to better feel the spirit as you ponder the words of Jesus Christ and his prophets. We hope that you know how much you are wanted, needed, and loved.
